We had an outstanding
week of football this week. We
have no more undefeated teams left, and currently any team over .500
would be in the playoffs!

All week 12 games are due by Friday 12/24
morning. Just an FYI (I'll remind
everyone next week) - week 13 games will be due Monday 1/3 (due to
Christmas and New Years).
The Regular Season schedule
is now up!
Make
sure you submit your existing trades as soon as possible. We will have a
trade deadline like the real NFL - 6 weeks. However, if due to injury,
you need to make a trade after week 6, we'll consider it on a case by
case basis. Trades may take a few days to approve once submitted (other
than existing trades).
Games weeks are Monday
to Monday. All games are to be played by first thing Monday morning, when
they will be simulated if not complete.
Remember, you are
responsible for scheduling your game in the forums. If you do not, you
risk a warning.
Unfortunately, Sega
screwed up the schedules. It's possible you won't even play people from
your division . However, we are still following NFL Division rules for
determining playoff positions - we are NOT following ESPN rules. We have
not yet determined how to handle tie-breakers... we'll probably have to
do it on a case-by-case basis.

NFL Commissioner's Notes
After week 3, we are seeing some fantastic football games. Most games are being decided right at the wire.

As in previous weeks, all games are being completed on time - well done!
I am out of town the entire week (until Friday afternoon), so K (Lonewolf) is managing the PS2 aspect of the league (trades, advancing the week, etc). I can still reset a disconnected game, but otherwise, if you need something done before Friday, please contact him.
I have had a few PMs and conversations with owners regarding the DLine glitch (they've all opted "not to make a big deal out of it", but it needs to be mentioned). Please be careful if you control the DLinemen. We've opted to allow it, but some people are abusing it. If you are getting through the line fairly consistantly without being blocked - you are using the glitch. It is easy to do - simply start to the outside, and then cut back inside. If you can get through the line easily doing that - you are using the glitch. We may need to regulate this if it is continued to be abused.
